The main goal of the Chair «EUROAUDIT Jean Monnet Chair» is an academic assistance in spreading and promoting the experience of European countries in organizing and conducting state audit, accounting and financial management in the Eurasian space, in particular, in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries.
To achieve this goal, the following tasks must be performed:
Educational aspect:
- equip the students of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan with understanding and knowledge of the evolution, achievements and current issues of audit in European countries.
Scientific aspect:
- give an impetus to research on European auditing at universities in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
Methodological aspect:
- Improving the quality of teaching disciplines on the organization and conduct of state audit, accounting and financial management at universities in Kazakhstan by providing up-to-date information, providing methodological support to teachers.
Information aspect:
- further promotion of European values, recognition of the achievements of the European Union in the Kazakh society and Central Asian space through the available media resources.
The goal and objectives will be achieved by organizing winter and summer schools, round tables, webinars, scientific conferences with the participation of students and of regional universities; through academic mobility of students and teachers, conducting research on topical issues of auditing, preparing and publishing scientific and methodological works. It is assumed that the competition of research papers of students on the issues of European auditing will arouse interest among young people. All activities and efforts of the department will be covered in the mass media.
«EUROAUDIT Jean Monnet Chair» will provide an opportunity to focus efforts on systematic, purposeful work on research, dissemination of European knowledge and ideas among students, academic and general public at the national level. The implementation of the tasks facing the department will contribute to the development of student-oriented learning and the principles of problem-based education at our university. The introduction of academic disciplines at the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs will give an impetus to improving employment opportunities and career prospects for graduates.
Unique opportunities for close integration into the European scientific and educational space will be available to teachers, young researchers and civil servants through participation in round tables, summer schools, distance learning courses and other forms of cooperation, as well as facilitating the exchange of experience with European training centers.

Participation in the kick-off meeting for Jean Monnet beneficiaries organized by the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture (EACEA)
On January 31, 2023, Coordinator of the Jean Monet Chair project within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union, Professor of the State Audit Department, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor L.Z. Beisenova took part in the launch meeting for Jean Monet beneficiaries organized by the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture (EACEA).
Various aspects of grant management were discussed at the meeting. The meeting was an opportunity to meet with the team of the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture.
On February 6, 2023, at 15.00, the opening of the "Winter School of the Jean Monnet - Euroaudit Department" will take place within the framework of the European Union Program "Erasmus+" link to connect https://clck.ru/33LXYf
On February 5, 2024, the opening of the “Winter School of the Jean Monnet Department - Euroaudit” took place within the framework of the European Union Erasmus+ Program. During the period from February 5 to March 18, 2024 (6 weeks), lecturers from the European Union countries will give lectures to students of the OP “Public Audit” in the following disciplines: “Activities of SAIs of the European Union countries”, “Accounting and control in the public finance sector in the European Union” Union”, “Modern methods of financial management in the countries of the European Union”, “Project management in the countries of the European Union”, “Public finance in the countries of the European Union”, “Methodology of government audit according to ISSAI standards”.
