The management of the university and the faculty of the department conduct a huge work on the implementation of the educational program.
In 2011, within the framework of the Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation between ENU them L.N.Gumilyov and the Tax Committee Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the department was opened a specialized training cabinet of the tax committee, equipped with 12 computers with software for tax administration. In 2011, a license was received for PhD study in the specialty 6D050900 - Finance (AB No. 0137482 dated July 23, 2011).
November 21, 2018 in the walls of the ENU them L.N.Gumilyov was the opening of the cabinet, prepared for the 25th anniversary of the national currency - tenge. Thematic audience was presented by the Head of the Finance Department Galymzhan Kerimbek within the framework of the open administration held at the Faculty of Economics. Participants of the administration headed by First Vice-Rector - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Assemgul Moldazhanova, familiarized themselves with the exhibition of banknotes and coins of the first issue of Kazakhstan in 1993 from the collection of D.Mazhitov, Professor of the Finance Department, and the history of the national currency. It was told about those individuals depicted in the tenge and security measures taken for the national currency. A collection of banknotes and coins from developed countries from the collection of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor S.Мakysh was presented.
