Scientific activity
The department of "Accounting and Analysis" has a high scientific potential to conduct scientific research in various fields.
A long-awaited meeting took place in the branch of the Zerde Training Center with the General Director Alima Beisembayeva and with representatives of our department "Accounting and Analysis" of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Previously, teachers of our department were invited as independent examiners for passing exams for professional certification of accountants. Issues were discussed on attracting students to take additional courses, as well as on the basis of the branch of the department to conduct classes by leading practitioners. Leading specialists proposed disciplines for inclusion in the educational programs "Accounting and Audit" and signed letters of agreement.
23.02.2022 we have an anniversary conference held as part of a memorandum between the Eurasian National University. L.N. Gumilyov (Nur-Sultan) and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Moscow, RF), the conference was held in o + n-line mode on the topic: "International Accounting and Auditing Standards: Application Practice in the Digital Economy".
Our university is a partner of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia in the field of double-degree education, research internships, under the mobility program for students in economics. The number of conference participants is growing every year, the quality of their speeches and publications is improving. This year, about 150 participants from near and far abroad expressed their desire to take part in the scientific-practical conference, including doctors and candidates of economic sciences, graduate and doctoral students, undergraduates and students, specialists in the field of economics, accounting, analysis, audit and estimates. The conferences are attended by scientists and specialists from Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Slovakia.
We would like to express my gratitude to the representatives of our partners for their active assistance in organizing this event and implementing a number of research projects. The main objective of this event is a broad discussion of scientific issues in the field of International Accounting and Auditing Standards in the digital economy. The project is aimed at organizing and implementing high-quality joint master's and doctoral programs (PhD), strengthening international cooperation in the field of training highly qualified specialists and facilitating the exchange of graduate students, undergraduates, conducting joint scientific research in order to prepare doctoral dissertations.
At the April 5, 2019 the Department "Accounting and Analysis" at the Faculty of Economics held an international scientific-practical online conference on "The problem of implementation of international standards on auditing and accounting, practice of their use in CIS countries". The conference was co-organized by the Department “Accounting, auditing and statistics” of the Russia Peoples' Friendship University as a long-time partner. The conference was attended by 124 scientists from 19 universities at the 6 countries: Bulgaria, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Donetsk Republic and the Republic of Belarus. Textbook issued by teachers of the Department "Accounting and analysis" in 2018: S.S. Saparbaev and N.N. Tastanov - "External evaluation of educational achievements for professions in social Sciences, Economics and business" textbook. At the plenary session presentations were made by Professor V. Chaplyuk and head of the Department "Accounting, auditing and statistics" M. Petrovskaya from the Russian University of Peoples' Friendship, Head of the Department of “Accounting and Financial Accounting” of the Stavropol State Agrarian University N. Kulish, Associate Professor of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University B. Sultanova, Professor of the University of NARHOZ G. Appakova, Professor S. Iskakova from M.H. Dulati Taraz State University, Professor of the Department “Accounting and Analysis” of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University S. Saparbayeva and other. Conference participants noted the existence of similar economic problems in the field of accounting and auditing and the need to find common solutions. In modern conditions, cooperation in this area is of particular importance. It is means a new, higher level of interaction between the CIS member states, based on accumulated practical experience. The conference was held in the framework of the section "Audit and taxation" of the UMO ROMS in the area of preparation "Business and management".

For the preparation of the winners of Republican and international subject competitions senior lecturer Reidolda S. and docent Saparbaev, S.T. was awarded letters.
The club members are actively engaged in research work, repeatedly became winners of scientific competitions, conferences and contests. In 2013-2016 years, the research works completed under the guidance of assistant professors executing B.A Alibekova, B.O Turebekova, S.S Saparbayeva and senior lecturer N.N Tashtanova in the annual republican competition of MES RK for the best research work of students of Kazakhstan universities constantly win prizes.
Students actively participate in international and national student competitions. In 2014, a team of 4th year students (N. Omarova, Kulmuhambetova A., Kim O.) took the first team place at the I International Forum of Accountants students organized on the basis of the North Caucasus Federal University (Stavropol). In 2015, a team of 2nd year students (Erpenova M. Imangalieva A. Shevtsova T.) took first place in the team for the best scientific report and the Diploma of 2nd degree at the International Student Olympics on Statistics, organized by the Federal Service of the Russian Federation on the basis of statistics MESI (Moscow). In 2016, a team of students of the 3rd year (Aldyngarova D. Akhmetov, A., A. Akimbergenova) took second place in the Republican subject Olympics on accounting held the MES on the basis of JSC "Narhoz University."
The high professional level of the staff of the department "Accounting and Analysis" allows to communicate science and production. So, in 2015 Ph.D. Tuleshova G.K, associate professors Alibekova B.A, A.B Omasheva according to the contractual works contract №187 from 13.11.2015, with the RSE on PVC "Centre for Financial Violations Research" of the Accounts Committee for Control over Execution of the Republican Budget made an independent examination of the report on the research work in accordance with the terms of reference on the topic "Study of international best practice features planning and audit compliance with the development of the toolkit, tested on a pilot project basis". Since October 2015, at the department operates scientific-practical club "Junior accountant", which aims to attract students to scientific research and social activities, to develop a team spirit among the students.
The results of PPP research publisheded in scientific monographs and textbooks. In 2015 following works were published: a monograph of Associate Professor S.S Saparbayeva "Improving accounting and audit obligations in the field of agriculture", Associate Professor B.A Zhumataeva " Commodity distribution networks and development of logistics infrastructure of the Kazakhstan". In 2016 lecturers Alibekova B.A, Nurhalieva D.M, Turebekova B.O, Tazhikenova S.K together with members of the execution of the republican budget of the Accounts Committee for Control published the first textbook in the country, "State Audit".
The scientific activity of teachers of the department is characterized by active participation in scientific conferences, both in Kazakhstan and abroad. Head of the Department Alibekova B.A, associate Turebekova B.O, Zhumataeva B.A, Kayranbekov B.O, Moldashbaeva L.P, senior teachers Tashtanova N.N, Tukenova B.U repeatedly took part in international scientific conferences in London, Warsaw, Athens, Moscow, Stavropol, with the publication of materials in the collections. In journals with impact factor included in the base of Thomson Reuters and Scopus', published 7 scientific papers.
