About the Regular Scientific Seminar of the Department of State Audit

On March 27, 2026, a regular meeting of the scientific seminar was held at the Department of State Audit of the Higher School of Economics and Tourism of L.N. Gumilyov ENU. The event was attended by faculty members of the department, doctoral students, as well as the Deputy Director for Research of the Higher School of Economics and Tourism, A.E. Tolepov. During the seminar, актуal issues of scientific research were discussed.

The agenda included a presentation by doctoral student N.M. Kapan from the “State Audit” educational program on the topic: “Public Audit of the Impact of Agricultural Policy on the Development of Rural Areas.” The speaker outlined the main directions of the research and delivered a presentation.

During the discussion, participants raised questions regarding the improvement of agricultural policy, clarification of the research object, and the stages of the dissertation work. In addition, issues related to the application of international auditing standards and the development of new evaluation criteria were addressed. Members of the scientific seminar emphasized the importance of comparative analysis of domestic and international experience in the research process.

Following the seminar, the report by N.M. Kapan was accepted for consideration. The doctoral student was recommended to revise the dissertation in light of the comments made. The seminar concluded with a meaningful exchange of views.
